This was the nurses room on my home page.
Ralph Lauren's Textured Suede paint gave a certain softness feel to the room.
Glass blocks were laid behind the head board, with lights shinning straight up from underneath them. The window treatment was made from the same Dupioni silk material as Lady Di's wedding dress.
The fire could be turned on from the bed, giving off that cozy warm feel she was so needing.
The first morning waking up in that bed she had a smile on her face! Yea!

Some Before and After's

This single lawyer wanted a new kitchen, but he also wanted to remodel his entire house. So to save a ton of money he opted for resurfacing his out dated press board cabinets instead of buying new ones. He went away for the weekend and was in shock when he came back. His words were " You' ve given me a $25.000 kitchen for only $7.000"!
What did he get for that? The design, shopping, labor, pictures & accessories, counter top, sink, tile and lighting.
Granted that was 2003 but still! The one thing he did not want purchase were new appliances, the after photos were taken to try and hide that fact.
Resurfacing Kitchen Cupboards

What can be done with 84 sq ft? This little room is really quite functional with a closet and lots of storage surrounding the bed. We built a lovely patio and landscaped the outside as well. From the exterior it looks like Hansel and Gretel's cottage nestled in the deep woods.

This room was once used as a broom closet. The owner a dear elderly pensioner could not afford much. We installed a new tub, hardware, sink, tile and painted over the existing cupboard. Mirror from Home Depot. $50.00
Accessories from Winners.

Making a Run Down Appartment Look Great!
With the high cost of living in Vancouver, it is still possible to find something run down in a nicer area and make it look amazing. This was a rental so it was basically paint, tile and new hardware. The furniture and pictures were cleverly arranged.
The apartment turned out so well I wish pictures had been taken of all of it

The bathroom was boringly plain, until we painted it with the paint left over from the dinning room wall, hung a few hooks and pictures, then added some new hardware and a tile boarder
This place was transformed into a Jewel in the heart of Vancouver.

A Tear Down Shed!!!

A guest room was needed here, and the task was next to impossible because the budget was VERY tight. We shopped second hand and found treasures. The door, wooden blinds, shutters, stained glass windows and large mirror were all from Habitat. The only thing new, beside the building materials was the wall mounted fire place from Costco.
When the fire is on its cozy warm and one may enjoy the smell of the cedar coming from the the wall its mounted on.
(125 sq ft. 18'x 7') Its tiny, but this little treasure can handle any guest with style.
A large mirror from a 1/2 of a mirrored closet door was taken apart and
re framed then placed behind the table. It covered a good portion of that long wall. And doubled the size of this micro space..
